Calabria. Mid seventies. We are witnessing the entrepreneurial turning point of the most brutal and powerful criminal organization on the planet: the ‘Ndrangheta. The words of the journalist Giuseppe Fava introduce us to the twisted criminal plot that involves the mafia, institutions, banks and business groups. Through his daughter Adriana, we learn about the life and death of an ordinary man: the engineer Gennaro Musella, who tried to denounce that rotten system. Adriana embarks on an intricate journey in search of the truth about her father’s death.

The director: Francesco Tortorella

Francesco Tortorella started his career as an illustrator and animator. He worked as creative art director and executive director with leading brands and with international broadcasters. His extensive background in production includes success in multiple roles – from writing and directing – to producing animated short films, music videos, visual contents for international events, commercials, opening titles and branding for many TV shows. He regularly collaborates with top agencies and award winning studios all over the world and he’s also founder and partner at Made On Vfx, a production company based in Rome.
