Who has never thought of wanting to rewrite a movie plot? This workshop gives young film and TV fans the opportunity to design and write the script for a small advertising spot. It’s the first big step in the transition from talking about cinema to making movies! After this first phase, the students have the opportunity to register and also participate in the “CIAK, SI GIRA! WE REALIZE A SPOT”.

The teacher: Francesco Filippi

Francesco Filippi is a freelance director and screenwriter, with a predilection for animation and cinema for children. With his films he has about 500 festival selections and 180 awards. His most popular shorts are Home (2009), Gamba Trista (2010), Memorial (2013) and medium-length feature Red Hands. Graduated in Education with a thesis on Leiji Matsumoto’s cartoons, he studied film and screenwriting for animation at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Among the collaborations, the direction of animated videoclips for the Zecchino d’oro and the screenplay supervision of Winx Club 2.
