The days of Visioni Fantastiche are always richer in events! Monday 28 October started at 8:30 am with the 18+ category of the International Competition, which included 7 short films, seen and voted on by our special jurors, the students.

In the afternoon at 2.30 pm an unmissable Master Class was held, free and open to all: Behind the scenes of the Stop Motion, held by animators Matteo Burani and Arianna Gheller, who shared their most important works with the audience. The vision of videos alternated with various backstages, through which the experts told the boys about their work in the world of stop motion, made of creativity, manual skill and precision.

At 6pm Gwen was screened, the shocking supernatural horror directed by William McGregor. In the cold Wales of the end of the 19th century, a girl fights against hunger and starvation to save the family from death. But when an obscure devilish presence takes hold of the mother, the girl will not only have to fight against her demons, but also against the growing suspicion of the community.

This incredible day ended at 9pm with the last unmissable Fantastic Premiere: Mutafukaz by Hojiro Nishimi and Guillaume ‘Run’ Renard. After a motorcycle accident caused by a girl’s heavenly vision, Angelino begins to see monstrous shapes around the city, the Dark Meat City megalopolis. Is he losing his mind or is it an alien invasion? Mutafukaz is a sci-fi animated film for adults based on the comic book series and the homonymous short film born from a French-Japanese co-production.
