Submissions to Visioni Fantastiche’s International Competition are open! The film festival for schools will propose the best of recent production of fantastic cinema to students between 6 and 19 years of age, who will be organised in 5 juries of Visionaries, on the basis of their age. The Competition will be therefore articulated into 5 corresponding categories, following the principle of the jurors’ age: 6+, 9+, 12+, 16+ and 18+.
The 5 categories of the International Competition conceive and accept both short and feature films, either fiction, animation, documentary or experimental, exploring fantastic cinema in its broadest sense, suitable for young viewers aged between 6 and 19 years. Being Visioni Fantastiche’s purpose to contribute creating a conscious visual culture, film selection of the Competition will give preference to those film works where the fantastic and entertaining elements unite with the educational component, valorising it.
