During the Festival nights a series of Fantastic Premieres will be proposed, consisting in first previews of films coming from prestigious film festivals and most exclusive film distributors. Section Special Selection will be proposing a selection of the best short films presented at Kurtzfilmtage Oberhausen, the historical film festival where Herzog, Wenders, Reitz and Fassbinder signed the new German cinema manifesto in 1962. Tribute to the Masters is a section dedicated to great masterpieces of the history of cinema, that this year will be exploring Hayao Miyazaki cinematography presenting some of his most significant animation works. At Palazzo dei Congressi there will be also permanent workshops, that we called Interactive Space, accessible during all the Festival days. All these events are enriched by encounters with film authors and directors, as well as with notorious personalities of the cinema world.
